Former Portugal national team player is a new manager of Poland national team since January 2021. He played for several great clubs and won Champions League twice. 52 caps for Portugal. Sousa began his coaching career in 2005. Champion of Hungary, Israel and Switzerland.

BEST RESULT: Their best result on European championships in the quarter-final in 2016. They took second place in a group with Germany, Northern Ireland and Ukraine with the same points as first placed Germany. In the round of 16 Poland faced Switzerland and were better on PKs after 1-1 in regular time. Only Granit Xhaka missed in the penalty shootout and Poland went into the next phase. They again played 1-1, this time against Portugal in the quarter-final. Blaszczykowski was the only player to miss as Portugal won 5-3 on penalties.
