PREMIER LEAGUE 2019/20 MANAGERS DURING THEIR PLAYING DAYS

2019/20 PL season started last week. Defending champion is Manchester City. Newcomers are Norwich City, Sheffield United and Aston Villa. This will be first season with VAR.
Here you can see Premier League managers during their playing days. After a great career as Chelsea player this will be Lampard first season as Blues manager. Will he also become Chelsea legend as manager? We will see. After winning Champions League last season can Jurgen, finally, bring back PL title, first after 1990?

MANAGERIAL CHANGES:

Quique Sanchez Flores (Valencia / Watford): Former Spain national team player is a new manager of Watford. He already coached them in 2015/16 season. After poor start of the season Javi Garcia got sacked.


Jose Mourinho (Rio Ave / Tottenham): His 3rd club in Premier League after Chelsea and Man. United. He already won 3 PL titles.


Fredrik Ljungberg (Arsenal): New Arsenal interim manager. As player, former Swedish international, was part of Arsenal's Invincibles.


Nigel Pearson (Middlesbrough / Watford): Third managers for Watford this season. 


Duncan Ferguson (Everton): Everton new manager is their former footballer Duncan Ferguson.


Mikael Arteta (Arsenal): New Arsenal manager where he replace interim manager Ljungberg. Until now he worked as Man. City assistant manager.


Carlo Ancelotti (Roma / Everton): After he was sacked in Napoli Ancelotti now became a Everton manager, his second Premier League club.


David Moyes (Shrewsbury Town / West Ham): New old manager of West Ham is David Moyes where he already worked in 2017/18. There he repalce Manuel Pellegrini.

  1. Good stuff. Some funny ones in there - I thought the Brendan Rodgers one was a joke, and you'd replaced him with a young female, but I realise it is genuine.
