COPA AMERICA 2019 MANAGERS-THEN AND NOW


Copa America 2019 is starting soon which will be 46th edition of that tournament. It will be held in Brazil. Guest nations are Qatar and Japan. Chile are two-time defending champions, having won the 2015 and 2016 editions of the tournament. Most successful nation is Uruguay with 15 titles.
Here on this post you can see all teams managers during their playing days and now as managers. Some of them never played football professionally like Qatar manager Felix Sanchez Bas who started working as a Barcelona youth team coach. He worked there for 10 years and then moved to Qatar. Since 2017 he is a Qatar national team manager and lead them to Asian Cup title earlier this year. Chile manager Reinaldo Rueda also never played football professionally. He started his coaching career in 1994 with Cortulua.
