FRANCESCO TOTTI- THE KING OF ROMA

The King of Roma, Francesco Totti probably the most loyal footballer in history. Hi didn't won much trophies with Roma and he could played for much bigger clubs and he could lift much more trophies then he did. He stayed loyal to Roma where he played 25 seasons of senior football. He played almost 800 matches and scored more then 300 goals. He is most capped and top scorer in history of club. He won only one Serie A title, two Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana. During his young ages his mother refuse an offer from Milan.

He made his debut at the age of 16 under cocah Vujadin Boškov. He scored his first goal in 1-1 draw against Foggia. He played only 10 matches in his first two seasons of professional football. Under Carlo Mazzone Tottti begun to play more regulary. At the age of 22 Totti became the youngest Roma captain in Serie A. He was one of the key Roma players in his only Scudetto tittle. In that season he played 30 league matches and scored 13 goals. In next seasons he didn't enjoyed much success with Roma but he wasn't someone who was looking for glory. Roma was much important for him then any other club, trophies, Ballon d'Ors... He rejected Florentino Perez (Real Madrid boss) and couple of years ago in interview with France Football he said "If I had gone to Real Madrid I would have won three Champions, two Golden Balls and many other things, but I will stick with what I did. Fidelity is already a victory for me, it is not easy to stay 20 years in the same team.“ Once he also said winning one league title at Roma to me is worth winning 10 at Juventus or Real Madrid.

On international level Totti played “only“ 58 matches for Italy, scoring 9 goals. His first big torunament was EURO in 2000. During tournament he scored two goals and assiste for one goal. Italy finished as runner-up at that torunament after losing final from France.
No much success for Italy at WC 2002 and EURO 2004.
Probobly the most important trophy in Totti career is World cup title in 2006. Before the tournament Totti had injury problems but he recovered in time to join the Italian winning squad. Totti scored a late penalty winning goal over Australia in round of 16. Later they were better then Ukraine, Germany and France in final.
Totti retired from national team in 2007.

FRANCESCO TOTTI, the beautiful story about loyalty, love and honesty.

CALCIATORI PANINI SERIE B WINNERS

After Serie A winners in Panini stickers now I made all Serie B winners. As you all know Serie B is second highest football level in Italian football. It was founded in 1929/30 and first champion was Casale. Genoa and Atalanta were 6 times Serie B champions. In season 2004/05 Genoa was champion but becouse of fixing scandal they where relegated to Serie C and Empoli, who was second placed, gainted promotion to Serie A.

First Calciatori Panini album with Serie B teams was in 1963/64. Two players on one sticker. Later we could also see 3 or 4 players on one sticker. When Panini produced first album with Serie B teams champion was Varese. Since then we have lot of different champions. Most famous of them are: Milan (two times), Juventus, Sampdoria, Lazio, Udinese, Torino, Fiorentina...

Calciatori 2006/07 is a kind of unique album in history. Both Serie A and Serie B had same size of stickers. Reason is because Serie B had several great teams such as Juventus, Napoli, Genoa. There where also updates (aggiornamenti stickers) for Serie B teams.

Enjoy in these Serie B winners collages.
